2022-2023 Bowe Fellowship Schedule

September 29 - 30, 2022: Retreat 

On the first day of retreat, the new class of Bowe fellows will learn how to gain greater self-awareness while getting to know their cohort. After a day of self-assessments and team building, they will tour Winbak Farm and learn about its global business operations.

October 13, 2022: Leadership & Communication

At this workshop, the cohort will expand their ability to think strategically, communicate persuasively and present confidently.

November 16, 2022: Global Markets & Economy

Fellows will deepen their understanding of various key performance indicators and financial tools used today by senior management.

December 13, 2022: Global Negotiations

A training based on The Power of Nice, written by Shapiro Negotiations Institute founder Ron Shapiro, will center around the three Ps of negotiation- prepare, probe, and propose.

January 24, 2023: Think Like a Global CEO

Hear directly from leaders on their path to the C-suite, what it's like to think like a CEO, and how to  position yourself for a C-suite role.

February 21, 2023: Managing Change on a Global Stage

March 23, 2023: Global Supply Chain

The session will focus on how businesses respond to changes in the global environment, such as tariffs, diseases, natural disasters, and instability within countries. Participants also will hear how senior executives from multinational companies predict the potential strain on supply chains and minimize budgetary impacts related to those strains.

May 24, 2023: Maryland Global Resources

During this immersive experience, fellows will tour BWI Thurgood Marshall Airport for a behind-the-scenes look at what makes Maryland a successful hub for businesses worldwide.
