While many companies struggled throughout the pandemic, one Baltimore manufacturer boosted its sales and nearly doubled its workforce to meet the growing demand for its products. Pompeian made Baltimore it's home in 1906 and today is the nation’s largest brand of olive oil. It also offers best-selling vinegars, and various cooking sprays. It’s no wonder they are known as The Olive Oil People which highlights their committment for farm-to-table products and the well-being of their farmers and growers.
The fellows will spend half a day speaking to Pompeian executives, touring the facilities and enjoying lunch "on campus." The afternoon will be dedicated to a fellowship-specific social event to help strengthen the bond between fellows and establish a foundation for future collaborations.
