Zac Sheaffer

While at McDaniel, Zac was a member of the Honors Program and inducted into the Phi Alpha Theta, Phi Sigma Iota, and Pi Gamma Mu honor societies. In May 2018, he was also inducted into Omicron Delta Kappa, a national leadership honor society. During his undergraduate career, Zac worked as an Arabic Teaching Assistant and Tutor, presented at several honors conferences throughout the region, and participated in numerous clubs and extracurricular activities. In 2015, through a fellowship with the Qatar Embassy, he traveled to Doha, Qatar to the Doha World Economic Forum, advancing his understanding of Middle Eastern culture and economics. In 2017, he completed a study abroad program at McDaniel College Budapest in Budapest, Hungary, where he also volunteered as an English teacher for migrants and refugees. His academic and international experiences have aided him in his role within WTCI. Zac currently resides in Hanover, Pennsylvania, where he coaches youth baseball and softball. In his free time, he enjoys exercising, reading, watching sports, being outdoors, and spending time with his family and friends.
