Wally Pinkard
Wally joined the World Trade Center Institute as an intern in September 2010, gaining valuable experience and insight into international business. Building on the positive experience of his internship, Wally rejoined WTCI in August of 2011 as the Assistant Manager of Marketing and Event Planning and is now Senior Director of Marketing.
Wally brings a variety of education and experience to WTCI. He received his undergraduate degree from the School of the Museum of Fine Arts at Tufts University, where he concentrated on painting and multimedia design. Upon graduation, Wally returned to his hometown to pursue a Master’s in Business Administration from the Merrick School of Business at the University of Baltimore. He received his M.B.A. in December 2011 and was inducted into the Beta Gamma Sigma Society. Prior to joining WTCI, Wally was a Marketing Intern at the Emerging Technology Center in Canton where he managed the organization’s website and assisted with social media and marketing efforts.
Originally from Baltimore, Wally currently resides in the Mount Washington neighborhood. He serves as a Weekend Mentor for Bridges, an academic and cultural enrichment program for East Baltimore youth and is on the Board of Blue Water Baltimore.
