Leslie Morales
Leslie Morales joined the World Trade Center Institute as an intern in May 2014, gaining valuable experience and insight into international operations and professional exchanges. In her current role, she is responsible for designing and implementing professional and exchange cultural programs on behalf of the U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Agency for International Development. She also oversees the Albrecht Fellowship Programs, WTCI’s student programs which include the Global Pathways for Students Program and the Youth Diplomats program.
She completed her undergraduate degree in International Business and French at Towson University where she created and was the president of Towson ESL, a student group that pairs international students with Towson students to help them improve their English. Her combination of bicultural communication skills and diverse extended family gives her the valuable cross-cultural sensitivity that is so important to her work at WTCI. Leslie was born in Paris and now resides in Parkville where she enjoys spending time with her family, reading, and yoga.
