Jennifer Hood
Jennifer joined the World Trade Center Institute as an intern in 2011. She was responsible for the research and design of cultural programs for the International Visitor Programs. She re-joined as the part-time Human Resources Adviser in 2018. She graduated from Towson University in 2011 with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in International Business and a minor in Asian Studies. She is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Human Resources from the University of Maryland University College.
Prior to working with WTCI, Jennifer worked at the Office of Technology Services at Towson University as a student worker for her undergraduate career. It was here that she found her passion for HR. While at Towson University, she also was a member of S.I.F.E. (Students in Free Enterprise), the Secretary in the Golden Key International Honour Society, an Alto in the Towson University Chorus, and a member of the Anime club (to help learn Japanese). After graduation, she interned with the HR department at COPT, and then worked at a staffing agency for the next three years. Jennifer was born in and resides in Columbia, Maryland. She comes from a multi-cultural environment and family, so she appreciates diversity and loves to learn about other cultures. She enjoys going to the beach, singing, hanging out with her cat, and playing video games.
