Maryland is home to two of the largest
transportation and trade hubs in the United States.

They are the Port of Baltimore and Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport. Once a year, people from throughout the Mid-Atlantic come together to hear about the current challenges the Maryland ports are facing and the major infrastructure projects and other solutions being implemented

The event is called State of the Ports and is hosted by the World Trade Center Institute (WTCI), Ports America Chesapeake, and the Maryland Department of Transportation. It is typically held during the winter at the World Trade Center in Baltimore, MD.
