They are the Port of Baltimore and Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport. Once a year, people from throughout the Mid-Atlantic come together to hear about the current challenges the Maryland ports are facing and the major infrastructure projects and other solutions being implemented.
The event is called State of the Ports and is hosted by the World Trade Center Institute (WTCI), Ports America Chesapeake, and the Maryland Department of Transportation. It is typically held during the winter at the World Trade Center in Baltimore, MD.
All are welcome to attend. In-person attendance is limited to WTCI members and event sponsors. Others can attend via simulcast.
The 2022 State of the Ports was held at the World Trade Center in Baltimore on December 7th. It featured two break out sessions in addition to the State of the Ports Address which was delivered by Bill Doyle, executive director of the Maryland Port Administration and Jim Walsh the CFO of BWI Thurgood Marshall Airport. for more information about last year's event visit the event website.
