For Executives - The Bowe Fellowship

The Bowe Fellowship offers a unique executive leadership development opportunity for globally-minded leaders from the mid-Atlantic region’s diverse private sector industries, government, academia, and nonprofits with AT LEAST 10 years of full-time professional experience. This program is for talent poised for the C-suite who want to expand their influence beyond their own function and industry. Fellows must commit to attending all ten program sessions and participating in Bowe Alumni events and networking opportunities. Sessions typically run from 2 to 6:30 PM on weekdays, once a month, from September to June.

To nominate a Bowe Fellow, complete the application below. Self-nominators should include their name in both the nominator and applicant fields. A statement of support from their supervisor is required at the time of applying to be considered, including a clear indication of how the applicant will be funded.

We will invite all applicants for virtual interviews on a rolling basis. During the interview, applicants will meet with WTCI staff and Bowe Fellowship Advisory Board Members. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis and must be submitted by April 30th. If you require an extension, please email [email protected].

Please note: This program is in-person only, and fellows must be present for every session.

For High School Students - The Albrecht Fellowships

Applications for the 2027 cohort are accepted on a rolling basis. The standard deadline for submission is December 6, 2026 at 11:59pm. Some scholarships are available on a competitive basis for applicants applying for priority consideration before November 8, 2026.

Program Fee : $750

*Note that all programs are in-person only and require the fellow’s presence in Baltimore during every session.

To apply for the Albrecht Fellowships, you must submit the following items:

  • Several short essay questions – observe the minimum and maximum length limits
  • Parent/guardian information and permission (for high school students)
  • An academic or professional letter of recommendation – no letters from a family member or friend
  • A limited number of scholarships are available for each cohort. If you are interested in applying for a scholarship you must submit your application by the priority consideration deadline on November 8, and email [email protected] to requesting the priority consideration scholarship application.

For College Students - The Albrecht Fellowships

Priority Application Deadline: April 25, 2026

*Applicants who apply before April 25th will be notified of their application status by May 25th, 2026.

Standard Application Deadline: June 6, 2026

Program Fee : $495

Fellowship Dates: August 11-20, 2026
