Navigating the path to becoming an executive-level leader can be challenging.
C-Suite executives not only need comprehensive business acumen. They also must be agile, resilient, and forward-thinking in order to make wise business decisions in an increasingly complex and volatile world.
The World Trade Center Institute's prestigious Bowe Fellowship helps people with at least 10 years of business experience get there. It is a unique opportunity for those hoping to join the C-Suite and others who are already there but want to improve their skills. The fellows participate in our Emerging and Developing Global Executives (EDGE) program, which meets once a month for 10 months.
Approximately 30 fellows are selected each year. The cost to participate is $10,000; some scholarships are available. Applicants must commit to attending all of the fellowship sessions (which start in September), have the potential to grow within their business, and be willing to be active participants in the Bowe Fellowship Alumni Network.
Many Bowe fellows praise the professional benefits of participating in the EDGE program; 67% have been promoted after finishing the program. But they also say they benefit personally, often because they end up feeling stronger and more confident about their place in the work world. Bowe fellows:
The program sessions are led by business leaders and other experts from the WTCI network, all who are affiliated with Mid-Atlantic entities that work globally – such as Under Armour, McCormick, Stanley Black & Decker, Northrop Grumman and Abt Associates.
