Geopolitical uncertainties and the evolving workforce also must be top of mind. During the World Trade Center Institute's (WTCI) four-part 2022 AGILE conversation series, experts from the Mid-Atlantic will dive into these issues and discuss the innovative solutions they are using to navigate our ever-changing world

All sessions will be in Baltimore, MD. They will include a 90-minute or two-hour presentation and discussion, followed by a networking reception. The events also will be live-streamed. As each session is scheduled, more information will be posted on our website and social media channels.

The COVID-19 pandemic shattered the traditional paradigm of how we work. The great resignation, onshoring, automation, AI, remote and hybrid work - are these trends permanent? Whether you call it the new normal, the next chapter, return to work, or re-entry, something has fundamentally shifted. As we reimagine work for a post-pandemic 21st century, many leaders are left wondering what’s next. How are businesses strategically responding to the changing nature of work, the workplace and the workforce? What should businesses be investing in and doing today to protect and prepare their businesses for tomorrow? Our expert panel will discuss proactive strategies that will help you stay one step ahead in meeting the needs of your business and your most important asset: your people.

Bruce McIndoe—president of McIndoe Risk Advisory and a recognized leader in risk, travel and intelligence—will kicked off the series by framing the problems that global megatrends can pose for businesses, as well as potential solutions to the problems. Two C-suite executives from the Mid-Atlantic then reflected upon his remarks and discussed strategies they are using to navigate this dynamic landscape. They addressed key questions on the minds of business leaders, including: How are businesses strategically responding to increased vulnerabilities and risks? What does global strategy and operational resiliency look like in this environment?
